[Solved] Document control feature helps with secure information distribution

Overview

In V6.0 the document control feature was added that can inhibit or warn during PDF export. 

Feature description

• A typical example is to prevent exporting documents in a draft stage however this is fully user-configurable.
• Exported PDFs can also be watermarked with the document control states such as partner release
• Set the desired profile in the Genie settings only initially to your workflow preference.  The tip is to start from the default settings activated by the default button.
• Once the document control profile is set then set the document control on the first tab in the stage & sensitivity dropdowns.

Conclusion

Using the document control feature can help to prevent versions from being distributed to an unintended audience.
