CATIM utilising AI / ML (artificial intelligence / machine learning) and the advantage of smart products

We live in  a world of continous change that is at times induced by humans and sometimes not.  When we are not able to fully understand change it puts us outside of our comfort zones.  When enough data is available then positive counter actions can be instituted to make the changes more desirable.

The biggest challenge by far is that we live in a complex world with changes that occur seemingly slow and often make us feel disempowered.  By analysing large amounts  of data such as extrapolating anything sensible from two telephone directories is humanely impossible.

Move forward to today and combine AI (articial intelligence) of machines figuring out the real world and huge data sets originating from sensors monitoring the world around us and ML (machine learning) is doing what is humanely impossible…looking for trends such as when will our current power usage outstrip what our solar system on the roof is producing..preventing that uncooked (and unexpected) meal.

CATIM extensively use machine learning to augment and make sense of the data our systems accumulate.  The use cases for this is extensive such as keeping retirees in their much loved homes for longer and monitoring their activities / reporting anomolies such as waking up late (yes the older one gets the more stable living patterns become).   It can also be applied to predicting where power or water usage is heading to and how that alters financial budgets.  Leaning on our core pillar of data security it gives humans a know all – see all option.

We at CATIM are continually finding new ways to use machine learning to improve our products and services.
